Mentor/Teachers
report to Stage Training Apprentice Mentor Program
Manager and receive a weekly part-time hourly
wage. Mentors work with children in a theatre
arts program at General Smallwood Middle School
in Indian Head. Literacy/theatre program.
Part
Time House Manager - Recruiting and managing
the Volunteer House Attendants, who greet, direct
and assist the guests attending performances,
and who also sell concessions and perform other
functions designed to assist patrons in an enjoyable
and safe experience

Volunteer

Admin
help
Volunteer in the theatre. We need general office
help in shifts of as little as 2- 4 hours a week.
Help with filing and returning phone calls.
House
Attendants Volunteer -See
the shows for free! Email ushers@floatingtheatre.org
or call 301-743-3040 to usher and perform other
duties related to getting the house ready for
the show.
Grants
Coordinator, is a volunteer, but can
work to paid eventually. Responsible for researching
grants, liaison with Outreach Coordinator, Program
Managers, and others in the organization ton to
find and apply for grants. This person reports
to the Grants Committee. Finds, writes and manages
grants.
